OUR ROOTS
Taylor’s love of the outdoors began at an early age. For his 11th birthday, he was gifted his first lawnmower. For the next eight years, he worked diligently to establish a business and grow his client base. What started with simple lawn jobs as a kid soon expanded to a year-round operation.
Throughout high school, Taylor made a name for himself. He was the proud recipent of the 2016 Saddle River Garden Club scholarship, the Ramsey Farmers Market Award, as well as several other accolades. After graduating from Ramsey High School in 2016, Taylor went on to study Landscape Design and Horticulture at the County College of Morris. He successfully completed certificates in Landscape Design, Landscape Contracting, Garden Center and Grounds Maintenance.
In 2017, Taylor hit the ground running with Corbett Landscape Design Inc. Now fully licensed, insured, and incorporated he expanded his team and fleet of vehicles, as well as machinery, to cater to his growing clientele.
What makes Corbett Landscape Design unique is Taylor’s commitment to utilizing new technologies and working with local experts. By utilizing software that allow him to produce impressively rendered designs, clients are able to visualize their finished product before work begins. This allows for more accurate quotes and estimates, as well as more effective communication of project expectations.
Taylor works closely with many local and reputable experts in the landscaping field from tree and irrigation companies, koi pond engineers, masons, pool companies, architects, real estate agents, and local garden centers.
